Operating Policies & Terms of Service
1. General Agreement
By booking a tour, transport service, or customized package with Wanderer's Way Tours & Travels, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and operating guidelines. Please review them carefully before making a booking.
2. Long-Distance Packages Transport Policy
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LONG-DISTANCE TOURS:
For tour packages to long-distance destinations—specifically including Meghalaya, Kerala, Kashmir, Goa, and Arunachal Pradesh—Wanderer's Way Tours & Travels provides ONLY local transport and sightseeing vehicle services within the destination.
Interstate travel, flights, long-distance railway tickets, or transit vehicles from your home/origin region to the travel destination are NOT included in our standard packages. Travelers must arrange their own transport to reach the destination's starting terminal (e.g. Airport/Railway Station).
3. Booking, Payments & Deposits
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment. Balance payments must be settled according to the payment schedule shared during booking, or at the start of the tour. All prices are calculated based on the details specified in your itinerary.
4. Cancellations & Refund Guidelines
Cancellations must be notified in writing. Refund amounts depend on the timing of cancellation relative to the scheduled trip start:
- Cancellations 30+ days prior to departure: 85% of booking advance is refundable.
- Cancellations 15-29 days prior: 50% of booking advance is refundable.
- Cancellations less than 15 days prior: Booking advance is non-refundable.
Please note that booking deposits for flights, specific hotel reservations, and special entry permits are subject to local vendor refund policies and may be non-refundable.
5. Route Alterations & Force Majeure
We prioritize safety and smooth operations. In cases of natural disasters, road blockages, extreme weather changes, political disturbances, or state permits cancellation, Wanderer's Way reserves the right to modify or adjust itineraries. Any additional expenses incurred due to delays or route modifications in these circumstances will be borne by the traveler.
6. Traveler Responsibility & Conduct
Travelers are responsible for carrying valid government-approved ID cards and all necessary travel documents/permits required for specific regions (especially restricted border areas in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh). We support eco-friendly tourism; please respect local rules, environmental standards, and wildlife guidelines.
